Every week we receive requests for information and advice from architects, contractors and engineers on projects of all sizes, from individual residential properties to major and iconic developments. Our aim is to offer the best possible advice to each and every request regardless of the project.
This is only possible because of our expert team. Each member of our sales and technical team has an in-depth and technical understanding of waterproofing and gas proofing and can offer advice on the best approach to any challenge or requirement. It also means customers don’t get passed from one team to another as their project progresses.
Often on smaller projects, the contractor will contact us for guidance on product selection and we can address their enquiry with a short phone call. We are then just at the end of the phone if they have further queries as the project progresses. Having people with the right expertise ready to answer these questions means the contractors can get the assistance they need immediately and get on with the job without delay.
On larger projects with more complex requirements our team is involved throughout the process, offering advice from design right through to completion. This can include installer training, site visits and consultation and support on installation up to and beyond completion of the build.
While we have a wide range of high performance below, at and above ground waterproofing and gas proofing solutions, we never recommend a RIW product if it isn’t right for the application. Our technical team are always honest about how our products can be used and what they are suitable for. After discovering what the customer is looking for, we will sometimes suggest they look at a different supplier that will better suit their needs. We have found this goes a long way in building trust and often results in the customer coming back to us on a future project.
When talking to our team, it quickly becomes clear that they know what they are talking about when it comes to waterproofing. However, we will never overwhelm our customers with technical jargon and science. Our team always try to cultivate trust with our customers and the result is that when we recommend a strategy or approach, they can feel confident that it will work.
